Regional Sales Manager - Agriculture / IrrigationJoin our team as a Regional Sales Manager where you will lead the enhancement of our Agricultural Irrigation business in the Northwest region, predominantly covering areas in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Northern California. This role is ideal for a sales professional who holds an engineering or technical degree and possesses deep understanding and experience in the irrigation industry. As the face of our company to dealers and distributors, you will drive sales growth and deliver technical consulting to maximize our impact in the market. This opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to blend technical expertise with strong sales and management skills.Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for total management of sales activities in the Northwest region, including sales, marketing, and technical support. Provide comprehensive product and technical information, alongside engineering specifications and troubleshooting assistance to dealers, consulting engineers, end-users, and other sales representatives. Offer both pre-sales and post-sales support, improving customer satisfaction and product integration. Engage in technical consulting on our products to prospective irrigation customers, including designers, architects, and engineers. Support and manage relationships with dealers and distributors, ensuring strong market penetration and customer loyalty. Conduct extensive travels within territory to ensure direct engagement and effective market coverage. Develop and conduct product seminars to professional groups, enhancing brand visibility and technical understanding among industry professionals.Minimum Position Qualifications: Solid technical experience in the agricultural irrigation market. Proven ability in sales and marketing within the irrigation or pump industry. Demonstrated ability to independently initiate work, with sound judgment and analytical skills. Capable of performing financial calculations, forecasting, and managing budgets effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with diverse groups of individuals.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred. More than 5 years of experience in a similar sales management role within the irrigation sector. Advanced knowledge of market dynamics and customer engagement strategies. Fluency in additional languages is an advantage given the diverse geographical and cultural territory. Excellent leadership and team-building skills.Skills: Exceptional solution-selling abilities. Strong technical aptitude with the capacity to provide expert advice and insights. Effective communication and presentation skills. Adept in using CRM software and other sales management tools to track performance and customer engagement. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
