Direct Counsel
Direct Counsel is looking for an attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience. This opportunity is with an excellent boutique law firm located in Los Angeles, CA that specializes in civil litigation. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background and have a desire to join a firm specialized in personal injury and general civil litigation. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary, bonuses and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters Work with experts Legal research Other projects, as assigned Qualifications:
Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently Required Experience for the position:
Must have a minimum of 2 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts Compensation:
