Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells has completed a property-wide renovation and up branding from Regency to Grand. Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues. Set within the perfect backdrop of scenic Indian Wells, this property will be a destination favorite as it is positioned to take hospitality to a new level in the destination. The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.50 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. The Barista will provide service in Camino Springs Market coffee-shop located on the property of the resort, preparing food and beverages in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests. Other responsibilities include payment processing using POS system, restocking product shelves, selling retail merchandise, and other responsibilities as assigned by managers. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, refined verbal communication skills, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds), must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, Riverside County Food Handler's license must be obtained.
