Senior Acquisition Security Manager
role at Odyssey Systems, supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Integrated Development Office, located at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and implement program security management in collaboration with government personnel, prime contractors, and subcontractors. Develop, update, and maintain security documentation including classification guides, Program Protection Plans (PPP), OPSEC plans, security CONOPS, and related materials. Review and evaluate contractor deliverables (software/hardware) and acquisition documentation for compliance with security policies and regulations. Plan and conduct security-related surveys, studies, risk analyses, and assessments throughout the program life cycle. Administer and monitor databases for classified material, visits, clearances, and audits; ensure accountability and secure handling. Establish and maintain physical, personnel, documentation, and COMSEC security protocols for secure environments. Provide security education, awareness training, and support to source selection activities and Special Access Programs (SAP). Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in acquisition program security across defense systems. Familiarity with MIL-STD 1785, DoDI 5000.2, AF Supplement 1, and DoDI 8510.01. Experience working with classified systems, C&A processes, and contractor/Government interface for security oversight. Specialized experience
DD 254 Expertise: Ensure accurate and complete DD 254s by collaborating with PMs and Engineers to capture all classified requirements. Contractual Insight: Apply deep understanding of DD 254s within the broader contracting framework, especially for classified contracts. SAP/SCI Support: Provide security support for SAP/SCI efforts, including billet nominations and classified contract execution. Citizenship

Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI Education/Years of Experience: Masters or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelors Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD. Program Protection Planning (PPP) Development: Ability to create and maintain PPPs in alignment with DoDI 5000.83, integrating counterintelligence, anti-tamper, and cybersecurity measures throughout the system lifecycle. Security Classification Guide (SCG) Development & DD Form 254 Administration: Skilled in drafting and updating SCGs and DD 254s to ensure accurate and consistent security requirements for classified contracts. Risk and Vulnerability Assessment: Proficient in conducting assessments to identify threats to personnel, systems, and datasupporting mitigation strategies across acquisition phases. SAP/SCI Access and Information Assurance Compliance: Experience managing SAP and SCI security protocols, including facility accreditation, billet management, and classified data handling in accordance with JSIG and NIST 800-series. Interpersonal Skills
Collaboration Across Functions: Builds strong working relationships with acquisition, engineering, cybersecurity, and contractor teams to ensure seamless integration of security requirements. Clear and Diplomatic Communication: Translates complex security policies and procedures into actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences without creating friction. Discretion and Trustworthiness: Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with the utmost integritycrucial when working with classified programs and senior stakeholders.
