Leasing Consultant

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Property leasing and administration Regular/daily onsite attendance is required Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease Close the sale by generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and conducting follow-up Complete leasing paperwork before move-in Assist with lease audits, walk units, and the turn process Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours Use established sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and achieve leasing goals Perform various administrative tasks as needed Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction Assist in resident retention programs (events, promotions, newsletters, etc.) Contribute to upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model Marketing & Outreach assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach Review market surveys/analyses to generate ideas and formulate plans Maintain knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey Customer & Resident Relations provide excellent service and monitor response times Project a positive image of the community to achieve property objectives Enforce community policies as directed by supervisor Education/Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements Physical Requirements

Ability to move about to accomplish tasks; communicate with others; repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers Occasionally climb ladders, stairs, ramps; may be required to work in various environments May lift or move up to 25 lbs; may work overtime, weekends, or night hours as needed At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider factors such as skill set, background, and training. The total rewards package includes benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance), 401K with employer matching, and potential commissions and bonuses where applicable. Full-time employees also receive paid sick days and company holidays. Salary Range : $21 per hour to $24 per hour This job description is a guide of expected duties and may be modified at any time.
