In this role you will migrate, manage, maintain and optimize enterprise GIS infrastructure, administering ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store), ensuring system availability, performance, and security, as well as supporting users and development teams in the organization. The role focuses on planning, testing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise migrations across on-prem versions. You will work on production workflows, create artifacts like test specifications, perform testing and implement relevant live activities. Work Location: Houston, TX, Texas, USA Responsibilities Migrate, manage, maintain and optimize enterprise GIS infrastructure Administer ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal, Server, and Data Store Ensure system availability, performance and security; support users and development teams Plan, test and implement ArcGIS Enterprise migrations across versions (on-prem) Develop production workflows, write test specifications, perform testing and implement live activities Collaborate with IT, geoscience, data management and software development teams to deliver GIS solutions
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of Information Technology experience Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Administration and ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcObjects, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Web App Builder / Web Experience Builder Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise deployment in cloud environments (Azure / AWS) Experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies Ability to collaborate with IT teams, engineers, geoscientists, data managers and other software developers Experience supporting geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing and geocoding tools
Preferred Qualifications
Cross-functional IT project support relying on GIS technology GIS web-based application development, testing and migration of IT systems Spatial data management and integration of disparate datasets POC development to validate solutions and reduce risk Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry Windows Server 2022, Active Directory; C#, ASP.NET, Oracle Azure services (Data Factory, Data Explorer) and related tools
