The Leasing Agent reports to the General Manager. This position assists with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition. Assist with leasing to ensure high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability. Maintain accurate records of availability compatible with lease renewal reports. Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval. Manage property licenses and renewal processes, liaising with legal counsel and the City. Assist with the check-out process, including accepting keys and inspecting vacated units. Ensure leases and resident check-ins are accurate and efficient. Respond promptly to resident concerns or complaints, ensuring accuracy and good public relations; report to the General Manager. Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required. Assist in developing and implementing marketing and resident retention programs. Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors. Answer phones as needed and perform general administrative duties such as filing and typing. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain, valid drivers license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Entrata (preferred). Skills include accurate record-keeping, numerical analysis, legal document preparation, and adherence to laws. Demonstrate a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude, with excellent customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Additional Details
