Private Duty Home Health Aide - 24/7 Care - Kalamazoo, MI Location: Kalamazoo, MI Shifts: Full-time and Part-time shifts available (24/7 coverage needed) Referral Bonus Available!We are looking for compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Caregivers to provide private duty care for a kind and soft-spoken woman transitioning home from Mary Free Bed to her residence in Kalamazoo. She requires 24/7 support, including personal care, companionship, and help with daily living activities. Responsibilities:Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls.Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing.Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed.Prepare light snacks or drinks if requested.Offer companionship and reassurance throughout the shift.Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort.Document and report any changes in condition.Respond to any emergencies promptly.Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of careMonitor patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exerciseObserve the client's physical, mental, and emotional conditions/ document and record changes in the patient conditionMaintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environmentAssist with daily living activities, such as dressing or taking a bathAdhere to professional standards, facility care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirementsQualifications:CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred.Experience working with fall-risk patients and mobility assistance is highly desirable.Ability to assist with personal care and provide compassionate support.Must be reliable, patient, and attentive to the client's needs.Comfortable working in a private home.Ability to work independently and follow care plans.Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to utilize computers/tablets and computer softwareStrong patient service skillsAttention to detail and ability to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient's careAbility to address minor medical issuesFlexible schedule and weekly pay!Documentation requirements:Valid Driver's LicenseValid CPR CertificationBackground CheckNegative TB test resultsAuto Insurance with your name listed on the policyCentria Healthcare and Centria Home Rehabilitation are always looking to hire caring, professional and dedicated HHAs and CNAs.
