is responsible for moving trailers within a warehouse or distribution yard, ensuring theyre properly positioned for loading and unloading. Key duties include: Safely maneuvering trailers, often in tight spaces, using yard trucks or hostlers. Performing pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment. Coordinating with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure timely trailer placement. Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment. Strong backing skills and at least 1 year of recent local delivery or yard hostling experience are required. Yard Hostlers play a vital role in maintaining smooth logistics operations.
