Fanuc Welder Robot Programmer

Key Responsibilities: Develop, modify, and optimize welding programs for Fanuc robots. Set up robotic welding cells, including fixtures, tooling, and weld parameters. Conduct test runs and make adjustments to improve weld quality and cycle times. Troubleshoot robotic systems, welding equipment, and related automation issues. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project requirements. Maintain documentation for robotic programs, procedures, and process improvements. Train operators and maintenance staff on proper robot operation and safety procedures. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience programming and operating Fanuc robots for welding applications. Strong knowledge of GMAW/MIG welding processes; experience with TIG or resistance welding a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and technical specifications. Familiarity with robotic safety standards and troubleshooting techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Technical degree or certification in robotics, welding, or related field preferred.
