Mortgage Loan Originator , you will analyze customers' financial profiles, act as a trusted advisor, and identify suitable mortgage products and other services to meet their needs. You will also develop opportunities to attract new clients and build relationships with referral partners such as realtors, builders, attorneys, CPAs, and others. What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life:
Focus on the sales and origination of 1-4 single-family residential loans within set guidelines and rates. Analyze income, assets, and liabilities to pre-qualify borrowers, follow up throughout the process, and strive to meet volume and cross-selling targets. Maintain a positive attitude and act with integrity, delivering top-tier customer service. Continuously update your industry knowledge and comply with relevant laws and regulations. You’re Part of a Team:
Join the mortgage team, collaborating with mortgage lenders, operations staff, and other business lines. Represent German American in the community through involvement in civic and community activities. What it Takes: NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration (or willingness to obtain) At least 1 year of experience in real estate, mortgage, or sales Skills in sales, needs analysis, and interpersonal communication Knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines, compliance regulations, and bank policies Bonus Points:
