The hours of the position will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM with some overtime as necessary. The starting pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Company offers excellent benefits, a fantastic team oriented work environment and advancement opportunities.The Responsibilities of the Ingredient Batch Mixer to Consist of:Follow recipes and formulas; scaling and portioning ingredients for production/processingPerforming all required quality assurance tests for weight, size and shape of productSheeting dough products for final bakingEnsuring speed control; mechanical and AC inverted speed drives with a working knowledge of PLCs for mixer operationsCreating batch reports and recording raw ingredient weights & measures and report to Production Manager dailyPrepare slurry per daily production specificationsChanging die roll cutter on conveyor for each productMaintain compliance with all food safety guidelines, quality control measures and ensure daily production goals are metQualificationsThe Required Skills, Experience & Education of the Ingredient Batch Mixer:Minimum 1 year experience in Food Production handling ingredient mixing, batch mixing, baking, sheeting, etc.Ability to accurately follow recipes and formulas for productionStrong understanding of GMPs, Food Safety, Sanitation and Food Production guidelinesWorking knowledge of PLCs as they apply to mixer operationsProfessional communication skills required; Interpersonal, Verbal and WrittenAbility to work as part of a team as well as independentlyExcellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills and a high level of accuracy requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities that require use of arms, legs and hands such as walking, climbing, stooping, programming PLCs, etc.If you have the experience to successfully perform within the Ingredient Batch Mixer position and would like to be considered, please submit your resume and cover letter for immediate review.
