We are committed to assisting the poor and needy without regard to race, creed, sex or ethnicity.Position Summary:We are seeking a mission-driven and relationship-oriented Head of Development & Fundraising to lead and expand our philanthropic efforts. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the growth and sustainability of our ministry.The ideal candidate will be passionate about Catholic social teaching, experienced in development work, fundraising, event planning, and skilled at cultivating meaningful donor relationships.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Fundraising Strategy & PlanningDesign and implement a strategic fundraising plan aligned with the Brother's Keeper's mission and goalsSet annual fundraising goals and regularly track progressCoordinate with parish bulletins, social media, and email to promote fundraisingDonor Cultivation & StewardshipIdentify, cultivate, and steward individual donors, foundations, and business sponsorsOversee donor communication, acknowledgments, and relationship managementOrganize donor appreciation events and initiativesGrant Writing & ManagementResearch and apply for relevant grants (local, state, federal, private, etc.)Maintain calendar of deadlines and reporting requirementsCoordinate with parish bulletins, social media, and email to promote campaignsEvents & Community EngagementPlan and support fundraising events (dinners, drives, speaking engagements, etc.)Represent the ministry as neededCollaboration & ReportingWork closely with the Executive Director and Board to identify funding needs and opportunitiesProvide regular reports on fundraising metrics and impact Qualifications:Practicing Catholic in good standing with a deep understanding of the Church's mission and values Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to work independentlyProven track record of securing donations, managing campaigns, and building donor relationships Preferred, but not required Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in fundraising, development, or advancementCompensation:Competitive hourly rate based on experienceBenefit packageFlexible hours and meaningful mission-oriented workOpportunities for spiritual and professional development
