Executive Assistant

This opportunity is for an Executive Assistant with a work location in Tupelo, MS. The Executive Assistant will serve as an assistant to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other senior managers within the division. The Executive Assistant performs a variety of administrative tasks, including coordinating and maintaining effective office procedures, arranging and participating in meetings of the direct reports of the CIO, varying committees and system wide Executive officers, and maintaining harmonious working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and/or customers. Responsibilities: Sort and read incoming mail and documents, determines routing and maintains follow-up Transcribe and type various correspondence Schedule appointments and maintain the executives calendar Attend meetings, establishing agendas and minutes when applicable at the direction of the Chief Information Officer Work with the Chief Information Officer to develop take-a-ways, follow up routine and actionable items for holding direct reports/teams accountable Receive and assist visitors, customers and telephone callers and refers them to appropriate office or person Maintain filing system and other office flow systems Arrange and coordinate travel arrangements for the Chief Information Officer and other senior management Approve and submit bills for payment Manage expense reimbursement submissions Manage Operations/IT accounts payable Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of job related experience General understanding of Information Technology, preferred Ability to perform clerical duties efficiently and accurately Ability to deal efficiently and tactfully with all types of customers (internal and external) Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision Ability to work accurately under deadline situations Knowledge of correct business language and banking terminology Good Knowledge of all bank services Ability to relieve the executive of as much detail as possible Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all information Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
