Angel Face Preschool is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This position plays a key role in assisting with the planning, development, organization, and management of programs and systems for staff, parents, children, and administration. The Assistant Director supports the Director in ensuring high-quality care, strong family relationships, and the retention and growth of enrollment. Summary

This position plays a key role in assisting with the planning, development, organization, and management of programs and systems for staff, parents, children, and administration. The Assistant Director supports the Director in ensuring high-quality care, strong family relationships, and the retention and growth of enrollment.

The ideal candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a passion for supporting teachers in creating a nurturing, play-based learning environment. Working in alignment with the philosophy and procedures of Angel Face Preschool, the Assistant Director will help foster a safe, stimulating, and positive atmosphere that promotes the physical, emotional, cognitive, creative, and social development of each child.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for children. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and improve student outcomes. Manage budgeting processes, including resource allocation and financial planning for the preschool. Train and supervise teaching staff, fostering professional development and growth. Collaborate with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to promote the preschools mission and vision. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback to continuously improve educational offerings.

Requirements

Qualifications

AA/BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field; or current CDA. Proven experience in leadership within an educational setting. Strong management skills with a focus on team leadership and development. Demonstrated knowledge of education administration principles and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and community members. 3 years classroom teaching experience in early childhood education.
