Overview

Our client is a lean bootstrapped B2B SaaS software company with a global footprint, including offices in New York, Orlando, Toronto, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Their platform enables clients to build and deploy real-time data and analytics applications. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a strategic yet hands-on financial leader who will work closely with the CEO and sit at the table with the C-suite to shape the companys next stage of growth. This is a hybrid role in New York or Orlando. Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

As Finance Director, you will serve as the senior-most financial leader, reporting directly to the CEO and partnering with the executive team. You will oversee finance operations across global entities while playing a critical role in strategic planning, capital raising, and investor relations. The right candidate will be equally comfortable setting long-term financial strategy and rolling up their sleeves on operational finance in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities

Lead all finance functions including accounting, billing, payroll, and global financial reporting (US GAAP + international compliance) working with outsourced providers. Build budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting; provide insights to guide expansion and investment decisions. Play a core role in the fundraising process, including due diligence, pitch books, and investor communications. Manage liquidity, working capital, and cash flow; oversee risk and compliance frameworks including SOC 2. Maintain cap tables and administer equity/bonus programs. Support the board and executive team with financial insights and recommendations. Build and lead a small but high-performing finance team over time. Candidate Profile

5-10 years of financial leadership in high-growth SaaS/software companies. Proven track record raising capital (equity and debt) and managing investor relationships. Expertise in subscription billing, software revenue recognition, and recurring revenue models. Strong operational finance experienceforecasting, cash-flow modeling, and risk management. CPA required; MBA, CFA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Collaborative and pragmatic leader who thrives in lean, fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with the C-suite.
