Our product brands include Cloud Cover Cannabis, Galactic Cannabis, Habitat Cannabis, and a retail network of High Profile Cannabis Shop locations. We operate High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. We are seeking a Store Manager to oversee the High Profile store, provide leadership and training to the store team, and drive sales. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of store performance, ensuring efficient operations, maximum profitability, and a best-in-class store experience. Track and achieve KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. Collaborate with and lead Assistant Store Managers to plan and implement strategies to attract and retain repeat customers. Serve as a role model for sales generation and customer service by prioritizing the customer experience. Work with the Regional Manager to establish and promote Customer Loyalty Programs. Ensure an excellent customer experience by staying connected to customer needs, anticipating changes, and preparing teams to meet consumer challenges. Lead employee training on POS systems, METRC, and other inventory control systems. Monitor and maintain inventory levels and report discrepancies to upper management. Conduct internal store meetings, provide feedback for employee development, sales opportunities, and operational improvements. Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting and general maintenance. Develop the store schedule to ensure proper sales floor coverage during peak selling hours. Handle customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Educate and coach staff on product knowledge, shrink protocol, and safety. Interact with external vendors and plan/execute in-store events. Create reports and analyze data, such as store sales, units per sale, and sales per hour. Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training and development of staff. Ensure compliance with all local and state laws and inspection requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 35 years retail management experience preferred, or equivalent. Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and sales. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, POS systems; experience with METRC and Dutchie preferred. Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples. Ability to drive improvements across all areas managed. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check. Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity. Ability to build and lead a best-in-class retail team. Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance and deliverables.
