About the role
This role is ideal for a dynamic and results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, excels at storytelling, and is passionate about bringing insights, flavor innovation, and customer opportunities to life. While some strategic input into targeting and go-to-market approach is required, the majority of your time will be spent in execution-directly engaging with customers and collaborating across sales, R&D, and applications teams to unlock growth.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with Sales: Collaborate daily with the West Coast Sales Leader to co-develop regional growth strategies, identify white space opportunities, and drive new business pipeline. Customer Engagements: Lead the development and delivery of high-impact customer presentations, innovation sessions, and concept pitches that showcase Kerry's expertise and capabilities in citrus, coffee, taste modulation, and cocoa. Pipeline Activation: Own the marketing execution needed to move opportunities from prospect to conversion-translating insights, technical capabilities, and trends into compelling customer-facing narratives. Portfolio Storytelling: Build persuasive positioning and storytelling for our taste portfolios, enabling differentiation in a crowded market. Insight-Driven Execution: Leverage relevant category trends, consumer behaviors, and customer insights to guide engagements and tailor messaging. Sales Enablement: Create best-in-class tools and materials to support the commercial team in selling our taste solutions-ranging from customer-ready decks to activation toolkits and sample support. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with R&D application and flavorist teams to align customer-facing work with business goals and technical capabilities.
Qualifications and skills
Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or related field; MBA a plus. •7+ years of progressive B2B marketing or commercial experience in the flavor industry required. •Proven track record of customer-facing marketing that drives pipeline and sales growth. •Deep understanding of the beverage industry and flavor trends. •Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills-able to simplify complex technical information and bring flavor solutions to life. •Ability to work autonomously while closely partnering with sales and cross-functional teams. •Comfortable managing multiple fast-paced projects and shifting priorities with ease. •Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills. •Past experience working in a matrix organization strongly preferred •Travel could comprise 30% of this role.
The typical hiring range for this role is $125,181.00 to $217,557.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
