Security/Loss Prevention Officer Higgins Hotel and Conference Center

The Higgins Hotel is seeking a Full-time Security/Loss Prevention Officer The Security/Loss Prevention Officer will respond to and handle security issues, concerns, and emergency situations in accordance with hotel policies and regulations to ensure the safety of the hotel’s assets, guests, and team members. Responsibilities include safeguarding hotel property, patrolling the premises, assisting guests and staff with safety and security, initiating investigations, and preparing incident reports. The position may require varying schedules based on hotel needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma or GED Prior security or law enforcement experience; hotel experience preferred CPR certification Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English Effective communication skills with the public and team members About Us Located in the Arts and Warehouse District in New Orleans, the hotel features 230 rooms, four dining outlets including a rooftop bar, and 18,000 sq ft of meeting space, all with Art Deco design.
