We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Permanent Senior Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Tech Services industry. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking individual with a strong background in cloud security, Ansible, IAC, K8, GKE, AWS EKS, Palo Alto, VMware, Vwan, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Packer pipeline, HashiCorp, Advanced Python, Windows golden image, and VPC peering. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the infrastructure of our rapidly growing organization, driving innovation, and improving system performance. Job Details include working on cloud infrastructure and security with multiple platforms and tools. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage the implementation of cloud infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and other HashiCorp tools. Lead the development of automated pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment. Implement and maintain cloud security standards and best practices across all platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Utilize Kubernetes (K8) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for container orchestration. Manage and optimize AWS EKS environments, including VPC peering connections. Work with Palo Alto and VMware technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security. Leverage Azure and Vwan for network management and connectivity solutions. Develop and maintain golden images for Windows systems using Packer and other tools. Write advanced Python scripts for automation and integration purposes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure aligns with company objectives and industry standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically with IAC, cloud services, and automation. Proven experience with cloud security, Ansible, Iac, K8, GKE, AWS EKS, Palo Alto, VMware, Vwan, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Packer pipeline, HashiCorp, Advanced Python, Windows golden image, and VPC peering. Strong understanding of cloud architecture and administration, with certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform being a plus. Excellent Python scripting skills, with a focus on automation and integration. Experience with network management and connectivity solutions, specifically Azure and Vwan. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
