American Landmark Apartments Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. American Landmark Apartments is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager for Canopy on Central, our 706 unit residential community located in Bedford, TX!
As Leasing Manager, you will act as a facilitator for all leasing-related activities from inception to close including showings, negotiations, documentation, coordination, and administration for the various aspects of the leasing process. You will act as the liaison between in-house personnel and tenants to negotiate, organize, track, and support our leasing processes.
Responsibilities
Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit. Oversee the marketing and advertising of vacancies on media/advert channels to attract potential tenants Scout and identify prospective tenants looking to lease a property Provide potential tenants with a tour of property or home highlighting the valuable features of the building in order to convince customers and influence lease Run background checks on potential tenants to evaluate their credit status and criminal records to determine if they are eligible occupy a building Maintain contact with lessees during their tenancy period to oversee their welfare and help resolve property issues Oversee the processing and approval of client applications and lease documents Elaborate the terms of lease, rental rate and period of payment to tenants Guide the activities and operations of a leasing team to ensure revenue goals are achieved Organize meetings during which leasing operations are discussed to identify solutions necessary for achieving occupancy targets Conduct survey of the property market to obtain information on competing lease rates and other trends that affect occupancy/rent Supervise campaign activities for the publicity of properties available for lease Ensure the proper documentation and storage of leasing files Develop and implement policies necessary for improving the profitability and efficiency of a leasing department. Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Community Manager.
Qualifications
College degree helpful but not required. Minimum 2 years working in the apartment industry. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Internet, and RealPage/LRO management software. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be self-starter. Bi-lingual helpful.
