Insurance Verifier
to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms, performing outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Urology. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with hours subject to change based on surgical flow, including early mornings and evenings. Job Duties:
Validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the computer system. Verifying insurance benefits by reviewing contracts and patient benefits. Determining co-pays. Posting insurance and billing comments. Entering information into the patient accounting system. Contacting patients regarding payments prior to surgery. Communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in hospital or ASC insurance verification. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. USPI complies with vaccination laws; proof of vaccination or exemptions may be required. Additional Details:
