Description The Power Market Project Manager will support electric utilities in generation and power supply planning decisions, including the decisions and justifications of new generation facility construction, generation facility retirements, and facility retrofits or conversions, as well as power purchase decisions. The Power Market Planning Project Manager will support a broad range of studies and other consulting services to support electric utilities to make decisions backed by business and engineering analysis regarding their power supply requirements, such as integrated resource planning, market assessments, and power supply RFP evaluations. The Project Manager will work with industry entities including investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, and independent power producers. The role involves business development, client engagement, proposal preparation, and project management. The Project Manager will oversee teams of engineers and analysts, ensuring project scope, schedule, and budget are met, and will lead sales, marketing, and client relations efforts. Responsibilities

Develop and manage client relationships, proposals, project planning, and negotiations. Lead project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, quality control, and risk management. Mentor and train junior staff; serve as an industry leader in power generation planning. Support business development and cross-selling of services. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, computer science, or related field; Master's preferred. Minimum 5 years of related experience, including project management. Knowledge of power supply planning software (e.g., PROMOD, Plexos, EnCompass). Deep understanding of electric power options, utility systems, and financial analysis. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Ability to travel up to 25%. This job posting will remain open until filled, with a minimum of 72 hours active.
