Barista/AM Server
Restaurant Servers are the face of the restaurant to its customers. They attend diners by taking and delivering food orders, answering questions, and providing a great customer experience. They are also responsible for delivering checks, accepting payments, and tidying tables after diners leave. Present menu, answer questions, and take orders for food and beverage, utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly, maintaining positive guest relations at all times. Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience. Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested. Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties. Attend all daily, weekly, and/or monthly department/hotel meetings to ensure proper communication/planning occurs. Compute bill and accept payment, track sales receipts, ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing in MICROS system. Clear and clean tables; reset counters and tables. Maintain kitchen and wait for station by keeping the area tidy and clean and stock kitchen and bar at the end of each shift. This role is tip eligible.
