Assembly Line Aircraft Avionics Technician
Location: Philadelphia, PA Pay Rate: Up to $48.00/hour based on hands-on aircraft experience Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays (while on contract) No Tools Required 15k in relocation when going direct after contract period Position Overview: Join a dynamic team supporting avionics operations in a helicopter repair station adjacent to a major corporate manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced helicopter models, including the AW139, in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Technicians will begin on a 46 month contract with strong potential for direct hire. Out-of-town candidates are eligible for a competitive per diem package. Key Responsibilities: Perform avionics maintenance and inspections on civilian helicopters Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings Support heavy maintenance and repair operations Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and other team members to ensure aircraft readiness Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of civilian aircraft maintenance experience Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Experience with inspections and heavy maintenance tasks Valid driver's license required Prior experience with civilian helicopter models is highly desirable Compensation: Hourly Rate: $30$48/hour, based on experience Per Diem: $160/day (up to 5 days/week) for eligible out-of-town candidates The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
