Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC/R systems at multiple facilities. Provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems within the Engineering and Technical Services function. Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards. Diagnose equipment failures, determine corrective actions, and maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated electrical and plumbing systems. Perform assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance, and general building maintenance; complete maintenance and repair records. Operate company-issued vehicles as part of daily duties. Share knowledge of HVAC/R systems and related areas within the function; lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values. Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard; explain technical information clearly to team members and clients. What Youll Need
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 45 years of related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal EPA or CFC Certification (with hands-on refrigeration experience). Basic knowledge of light carpentry, electrical, and plumbing for a hybrid role. Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads (50 lbs or more). Willingness to adopt new approaches and apply innovative thinking. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Mathematical skills for mildly complex calculations (percentages, fractions, etc.). Why CBRE?
