Machinist
Machinist $30 - $40/hr | Indianapolis, IN Job Description Experience with titanium, Inconel, and other specialty materials. Familiarity with Okuma LU300, LU400, LB2000, and LB3000 machines. Aerospace industry experience is preferred. Perform various forms of setups, including boring soft/hard jaws or using collet chucks. Read blueprints and job routers to determine product specifications, with tolerances ranging from .0005" to .005". Machine stainless steel and high-temperature alloys such as HastX, Inconel, and 17-4. Set speeds, feeds, and depth of cut according to material specifications. Utilize appropriate measuring tools and devices, including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and pins. Essential Skills Experience with Mastercam, blueprint reading, lathe machining. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Knowledge of GD&T, CNC programming, and G&M code. Ability to set up and operate machines, with experience in Fanuc, Solidworks, and Autocad. A minimum of 3-5 years of machining experience in an R&D manufacturing environment. Why Work Here?
