Head Start Recruiting and Outreach CoordinatorHead Start is seeking caring and resourceful individuals to foster community partnerships and collaborations and to work closely with families to promote their preschooler's overall development and prepare them for kindergarten and life beyond school.The Head Start Recruiting and Outreach Coordinator is the face of Head Start in the community. As Recruiting and Outreach Coordinator, you will: Establish, maintain and enhance community partnerships and collaborations that support enrollment and services for families Promote full enrollment in the program by completing recruitments, conducting outreach, door knocking, and promoting the program in the community Identify, coordinate and attend outreach events that support full enrollment Provide education on outreach events, enrollment initiatives and progress at Head Start parent meetingsThis position is located at our main office in Oneonta, is a year-round position, and is given access to an agency vehicle/mileage reimbursement for travel within Otsego County. Occasional evening and weekend hours.Qualifications:Associate's degree in human services, social work, family services, counseling or related field OR High School Diploma/GED/HSED and equivalent experience/education; a Family Development credential (generally within 18 months of hire); and one year of related experience in human services; valid, unrestricted New York State driver's license and reliable vehicle.Click here to view full Job DescriptionPay Range Guide: Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval) Pay Range: $17.97 - $19.77 per hour
