If so, I may want to talk to you. In the past few years Mistwood Golf Club has grown into a small hospitality company: JBM Hospitality. Not only does the company manage a high-end, semi-private golf course, but also three restaurants (McWethys TavernRomeoville, McWethys Sports BarBolingbrook, The JamesGeneva), two banquet facilities (The Great Hall at Mistwood and The Grand Ballroom at Joliet Union Station) and a sports dome (Mistwood Golf Dome). While each property is a different concept, they share one important characteristic: each is an exciting place where enthusiastic people come together to create a special experience. We are looking for somebody to help us market this experience for all of our food and beverage properties. We need a person who is specialized inand passionate aboutdigital and experiential marketing to spread the excitement about our restaurants and event operations. We need somebody who will collaborate with employees to run projects, meet deadlines, help us communicate our message and achieve our goals. In short, we need someone who will play a key role on our team. Yes, there are certain requirements. We are looking for somebody who is well-versed in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), and has experience with menu typography and design. We are also interested in candidates with exceptional organizational skills who can manage multiple projects with similar timelines. The Marketing Coordinator for Food and Beverage at JBM Hospitality is a full-time position that will demand full-time hours throughout the year. The Marketing Coordinator will focus primarily on food and beverage marketing by working within the marketing team, composed of the Creative Director and another Marketing Coordinator whose primary focus is on golf, to put forth marketing messages and programs for all company brands and properties including: McWethys Tavern, McWethys Sports Bar, The James, Events by Mistwood and The Grand Ballroom at Joliet Union Station. This marketing team reports directly to the Assistant General Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will work with employees from departments in all facilities to plan and implement marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: Contributing to the establishment, promotion, growth, and protection of the company brand. Taking ownership of the marketed representation of each brand. This includes social media management, promotional materials, sales materials, brand collateral, company websites, etc. Working with departments in all properties to generate and implement marketing strategies which may include: advertising, content creation, video production, social media, promotions, in-house and grassroots programs. Prioritizing, organizing and managing multiple marketing projects for the team. Evaluating the success and/or failure of every marketing campaign using analytics to track key performance indicators. Planning, marketing, promoting and operating events at and for each facility. Working with all departments to generate required sales and promotional materials. Maintaining knowledge of hospitality marketing trends, developments and best practices. Working directly with all employees to generate excitement for various marketing efforts. Initiating and developing customer and media relationships, including managing online guest reviews. Meeting with various marketing representatives to explore possible future marketing outlets. When necessary, serving as the public face and main media contact during events as well as in the community in general, if necessary. Providing strong leadership to employees at all levels, and acting as a role model at all times. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds and continuous repetitive motions. Work in hot, humid and noisy environment. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Impeccable design standards with strong command of typography, color, layout, and branding. Knowledge and vocabulary for print production workflows (bleeds, CMYK, packaging files, etc.), paper selection and paper weights a plus. Experience with content creation and digital marketing strategies. Must have a positive attitude with the ability to adapt and learn. Strong initiative and results-oriented mindset. Need to demonstrate the initiative to get things done. Must collaborate and work with others. Must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Possession of excellent written and communication skills. Strong creative thinking and ability to plan and propose new ideas. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Annual salary in the range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Access to company benefit packages for medical, dental, vision, LTD and 401k.
