Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are optimal. This role supports the efficient operation of the warehouse or retail environment by tracking and managing stock, organizing inventory, and facilitating inventory audits. The Inventory Specialist works closely with the Operations team and other departments to ensure products are stocked correctly and efficiently. Inventory Management •Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, product movements, and stock rotations. •Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with system records. •Monitor and track stock levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing overstock. •Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to replenish inventory as needed. •Ensure inventory is stored properly, organized, and easy to access. Stock Organization & Quality Control •Monitor product conditions, ensuring items are properly labeled, handled, and maintained. Replenishment & Order Management •Assist in AWOR process alignment including Order Point Setup, Item Ranking Setup, and any other system automations that support replenishment. Inventory Reporting & Documentation •Record inventory discrepancies and take appropriate corrective action to maintain accurate stock records. •Create and maintain reports regarding inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movements. •Provide input to management on inventory trends, shortages, and slow-moving items. Collaboration & Communication •Collaborate with other departments, including sales and purchasing, to coordinate inventory needs. •Provide assistance to store staff or warehouse teams by responding to inventory requests and addressing discrepancies. •Communicate inventory status and updates to the Senior Vice President Operations and other designated stakeholders. Safety & Compliance •Adhere to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries within the warehouse or storage areas. •Ensure compliance with relevant regulations regarding inventory handling and storage. Physical Demands •Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse or storage areas for extended periods. •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. •Repetitive bending, stooping, and reaching while organizing stock and performing counts. Minimum Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent. •2-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse, or stock handling preferred. •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software. •Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and other departments. •Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing inventory needs.

Pay Range:

$16 - $18 per hour
