Pawnee Waste LLC Pawnee Waste LLC, a state-permitted specialized waste landfill, is seeking a
hands-on Regulatory & Compliance Manager
to lead environmental and safety compliance efforts across all operations. This role is not just about oversight youll be the one actively managing permits, performing internal inspections, preparing documentation, coordinating with regulators, and ensuring full operational compliance. If you thrive in the details and arent afraid to get into the field, this is your opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact compliance program. What Youll Do:
Research and interpret environmental, health, and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, CDPHE) Manage permitting processes from start to submission, including renewals and documentation Maintain organized and accurate compliance records and reports Perform internal inspections and compliance reviews across site activities Support and lead external audits and regulatory inspections Deliver training and updates to operations personnel Collaborate with leadership, regulatory agencies, and field teams to ensure full adherence What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of
direct compliance experience
in landfill, oil & gas, or environmental services Familiarity with solid waste permitting, reporting procedures, and regulatory frameworks Strong documentation and problem-solving skills Excellent communication across operational and leadership teams Proficiency in compliance tracking systems and Microsoft Office Work Environment:
This is an
office-based position
with
regular site visits
to landfill operations. While Pawnee Waste does
not accept hazardous waste , site exposure to
unknown or mischaracterized materials
may occasionally occur. PPE is required for all field activities. ?
