Pridestaff is currently seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Operator in Riverside, CA; the worker will fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures. This is a full-time, contract-to-permanent position with an opportunity to grow. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.Pay rate: $$20-$25 p/hr depending on experienceShift hours: Monday-Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm no overtimeJob requirements: Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routersFamiliar with the use of a manual kick press, arbor press and hydraulic press.Knows hand tools such as calipers, dials, micrometers.Able to read blueprints, use a microscopeCuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions.Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces.Must be able to read and speak English.At least 1 year of recent experienceAble to operate a manual Lathe, with detailed attention (mainly used for swaging) experience a PLUS!
