CNC Programmer
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lathes & Mills Machine Operator to join our growing team in Racine, WI on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machinesspecifically 5-axis mills and lathes. This role requires a strong background in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment in a high-precision, low-tolerance environment. Apply now! CNC Programmer Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications Program CNC equipment using G-code or CAM software (Mastercam or similar preferred) Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot issues during machining and make adjustments as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards Collaborate with engineers and quality control staff to continuously improve manufacturing processes Requirements for CNC Programmer: Minimum 35 years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes Strong programming and setup skills Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and GD&T Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry standards is a plus Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Why Work with QPS?
