Responsibilities This position will be responsible for important work, including:
Drafting motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs
Hearing preparation
Case consultation and strategizing with a client
Communicating with the opposing party, courts, and others
Performing case law research to identify and apply relevant judicial decisions, statutes, etc.
Investigating the facts of a case
Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations
Editing and approving paralegal-crafted documents

10+ years experience in Minnesota family law
Admitted to Minnesota Bar and in great standing
Attention to detail and accuracy
Open-minded and willing to learn
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Technologically savvy
You smile when you answer the phone
You are an amazing scheduler with a sickening degree of attention to detail
You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet
Your middle name is “No Drama”
You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly - You do not think scanning and copying are “beneath you”
Compensation $145,000+ yearly
