As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Unarmed in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to security-related situations, communicate clearly with team members, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to visitors as needed. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management. What We're Looking For:

Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21 years of age for armed roles. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
