Job DescriptionJob TitleProject Controls Specialist I Location1000 East Main Street, Plainfield, IN 461683 years Pay$45 - $52/hr IntroductionWe are seeking a Project Controls Specialist I to support project control activities within our organization. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of project controls principles and some experience using scheduling software like Primavera P6. Under close supervision, the individual will develop skills to work more independently and support project teams on White-ranked projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications Graduation from a two-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience may substitute for degree Working knowledge of basic project controls principles Experience or knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software Familiarity with Excel and other project management or financial tools Collaborative team player with good communication skillsPreferred Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, or technical field PMI or AACE certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, PSP, CEP, or EVP Experience with Business Objects, MS Office Suite, and Maximo software Ability to interface effectively with various organizational levels and external vendors/suppliersDay-to-Day Responsibilities Support routine project control assignments under close supervision Assist in project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using Primavera P6 and other tools Help maintain project documentation and financial tracking Collaborate with project teams and external vendors to support project controls functions Learn and apply project controls principles to contribute to project successCompany Benefits & Culture Opportunity to grow skills and increase independence in project controls Collaborative work environment with experienced mentors Exposure to project management best practices and software tools Competitive pay and potential for long-term career growth The staffing industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers.
