CNC Lathe Programmer

The CNC Lathe Programmer will expertly program, set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment to produce high-quality products and components. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and lean principles while performing complex machining tasks without technical supervision. Responsibilities

Perform duties in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies. Execute complex machining of parts and tools on multiple machines independently. Program CNC Lathe machining equipment efficiently. Set up and operate machining equipment for milling, drilling, threading, sawing, and boring operations. Load and unload equipment, gather materials/components, and set parameters for production. Use machinist hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect parts. Understand and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and drawings. Complete all tasks typically handled by a setup technician/operator. Train regular and temporary employees in department processes. Serve as a technical resource for setup technicians/operators. Complete production-related paperwork accurately. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Participate in company-sponsored training programs. Engage in TIB reporting and HPT participation. Ethically interact with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and the public. Complete additional duties and projects as assigned. Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in Lathe programming and setup. Proficiency in reading blueprints, G-Code programming, and technical documents. Experience with Fanuc control, Mastercam, and Solidworks. Strong understanding of GD&T and machining operations. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma required; trade school or additional certification preferred. Possess math skills necessary for core functions of the role. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $34.86 - $34.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
