Your expertise will give to the production of high-quality semiconductor components that are pivotal to our customers' success. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to tackle equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield. Your passion for engineering and willingness to learn will help us overcome the challenges of this fast-paced industry. While we may not be actively hiring for this role today, we're always looking to connect with great talent for when the right opportunity becomes available.Responsibilities Installation and qualification of the cutting-edge dry etch equipment in our new cleanroomDry etch equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentationCollaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting productionUse project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficienciesEstablish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement, driving best in class equipment metricsDevelop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategiesMinimum Required Qualifications2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with Dry Etch equipmentBS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+yr industry experienceWillingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes:Onboarding training includes a 4+ month training period in Taiwan, followed by a full-time position in Boise, Idaho.Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approachStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficient in Data Science and Programming skillsSee more about Boise livingHow Micron engineers pave the way for semiconductorsAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
