Bayview Asset Management, LLC Overview About Us: Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets. Overview: The Non-Agency Loan Auditor is responsible for auditing closed loans accurately according to audit checklist, completing a compliance review that includes all high-cost fee tests and TRID timing and tolerance tests, and entering loan data into the system to ensure loan salability. Other essential duties include but are not limited to: Maintain or exceed required production and quality ratios. Maintain strong understanding of guidelines, policies, and procedures. Review closed loans for accuracy and completeness according to state and federal regulations by adhering to audit checklists. Complete system data entry/validation to loan documents. Order and review third-party reports. Escalate system issues/process issues/risk issues (client level or loan level) to manager as identified. Review and respond to audit findings with detailed feedback to determine validity of findings. Attend and participate in monthly audit update meetings to ensure understanding of new requirements and procedures. Complete assigned compliance training by the required due date. Complete other assigned tasks as required based on need and volume. Qualifications Education and Experience: College degree preferred or 3 years equivalent experience in loan audit review capacity, quality assurance, processing, and/or closing. Accurate data entry skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in an ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Detail-oriented and results-driven. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, staff, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment. Location and Compensation This role is hybrid (Tuesday - Thursday) based in Bayview's Denver office. Base compensation is expected to be $60,000-$65,000 with the opportunity for bonus compensation.
