Were looking for an experienced and highly motivated
Senior SOC Analyst (L3)
to join our growing cybersecurity team in
Chandler, AZ . In this role, you will serve as a senior-level resource within the Security Operations Center (SOC), leading advanced investigations, responding to complex threats, and mentoring junior analysts. Youll play a critical role in threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of our security monitoring capabilities. Key Responsibilities
Lead in-depth investigations of security incidents and coordinate incident response activities. Correlate security data from multiple sources, including SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), SOAR tools, and EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike). Perform root cause analysis and develop comprehensive incident reports. Analyze network traffic using packet capture tools such as
Wireshark
and
tcpdump . Investigate alerts from IDS/IPS and recommend effective remediation steps. Fine-tune detection and alerting rules in SIEM to minimize false positives and improve response efficiency. Utilize SOAR platforms to streamline case management and automate response actions. Collaborate with threat intelligence and vulnerability management teams to enhance detection strategies. Mentor and support Level 1 and Level 2 SOC analysts. Participate in proactive threat hunting and recommend improvements to detection logic and processes. Qualifications
3+ years
of experience in a SOC environment, including hands-on incident response and threat detection. Proficient in SIEM platforms, especially
Splunk
and/or
QRadar . Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms and automated response workflows. Skilled in packet capture and network analysis tools (
Wireshark
,
tcpdump
). Familiar with IDS/IPS technologies such as
Snort ,
Suricata , or
Zeek . Experience with EDR tools like
CrowdStrike Falcon
or similar. Strong understanding of networking protocols, system logs, and cybersecurity frameworks (
MITRE ATT&CK
,
NIST
). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Certifications
Security certifications:
CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, CEH Tool-specific certifications:
