Job DescriptionJob TitleProject Controls Cost and Scheduler SpecialistLocationDenver, CO (Onsite, local candidates only)Salary RangePay: $70-$85/hr IntroductionOur client is seeking an experienced Project Controls Cost and Scheduler Specialist for a high-impact role on the Canyon Pete Power (CPP) program in Denver, Colorado. This state-of-the-art 6-unit simple cycle facility using LM2500 aeroderivative turbines needs a detail-oriented professional with strong cost forecasting and scheduling skills who thrives under pressure and consistently delivers high-quality work. This role will require onsite collaboration with a demanding but experienced project manager to drive project success and earn trust while bringing value to the team.Required Skills & Qualifications Senior-level experience in cost and scheduling for Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) and/or simple cycle power projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Adaptability to project changes while maintaining high standards. Ability to work onsite in Denver, CO, collaborating directly with project leadership.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Procore and willingness to support its integration. Initiative to develop frameworks for long-term project and process improvements.Day to Day Responsibilities Manage cost forecasting and scheduling for the 6-unit simple cycle LM2500 turbine facility. Use PrimaveraP6 for scheduling and progress tracking; familiarity with Procore is a plus. Ensure accurate, organized cost forecasting aligned with reporting requirements. Maintain clear records and logs to track project updates and milestones. Work closely with the onsite project manager, demonstrating reliability and clear communication. Support integration with vendor partners and project stakeholders. Deliver high-quality results, minimizing rework and proactively addressing challenges.
