Executive Summary:
HRUCKUS is seeking a Reliability Engineer Mechanical Fixed Equipment to join a high-performing maintenance and reliability team at a premium fibers and polymers manufacturing facility in Pensacola, FL. The Reliability Engineer will lead critical aspects of the sites mechanical integrity program, oversee inspection and maintenance planning, implement PCMS software, and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure optimal asset performance and reliability. Responsibilities
Implement and manage PCMS inspection monitoring software for fixed equipment. Apply API and ASME codes and recognized engineering practices (RAGAGAEP) in maintenance and capital projects. Develop and execute Inspection, Testing, and Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) plans to address probable failure modes from Damage Mechanism Reviews. Utilize Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to prioritize inspection and maintenance schedules. Manage the relief device inspection and testing program. Create dashboards for asset health tracking on all critical fixed equipment. Provide detailed scopes of repair using API 579 Fitness for Service assessments. Establish processes for inspection findings, recommendations, and funding requirements. Reports to Reliability Manager and works with a team of reliability engineers, inspectors and technicians to support manufacturing. Required Qualifications
Experience:
35+ years of reliability engineering in the Chemical or Oil and Gas Refinery industries. Education:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable ASME and API Codes, including ASME Sections I and VIII, B31.1, B31.3, API 510, 570, 576, 653. Broad understanding of continuous operations in a PSM-covered chemical plant is essential. Experience with PCMS or similar inspection monitoring software. Familiarity with relief device systems and mechanical integrity programs. Solid interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
