Assistant Campus Coordinator
Position: Assistant Campus Coordinator Department: Great Hearts Lead Office, Co-Curricular Programs Location: GH Arizona Varies Reports To: Campus Coordinator EEO Classification: Administrative Support Workers FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt Salary Range: $15-17/hour Position Summary The Co-Curricular programs at Great Hearts Academies include After-School Athenaeum and Summer Programs. The duties of the Assistant Campus Coordinator include providing managerial and operational support to the Campus Coordinator. This is a 12-month, .6-time (24 hours weekly), non-benefits-eligible position, reporting to the Campus Coordinator. Duties & Responsibilities Supervising program teachers and assistants. Supervising and teaching children in the program. Assisting with administrative duties such as staff scheduling, training teachers, reviewing, and implementing budgets, payroll input and documentation, ordering supplies, curriculum implementation, and other tasks as directed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths The successful candidate will be a principled, professional leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others. They must demonstrate sound business judgment and wisdom dealing with people. They will possess requisite experience in the field of liberal arts and/or education, as well as a minimum of one year of experience with children and children's programming. Preference will be given to those candidates who have worked at a licensed program. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess or ability to obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card, and a negative TB test. Must meet the qualifications of Director Designee in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Child Care Licensing. In addition, you will be required to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire. Additional Requirements Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card. Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately. Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies within the Phoenix metro area.
