MPLX G&P Facility Project Engineering and Execution is seeking a Project Engineer to manage midstream crude oil and gas processing facility projects. The Project Engineer manages all aspects of assigned projects through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Aspects include scope, cost, schedule, feasibility, concept engineering, detailed design, equipment selection and procurement, contractor selection, construction oversight, management of change, personnel and process safety, environmental oversight, and all other project tasks to successfully accomplish the project objectives. This position will report to the Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities

Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts. Facilitates project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards. Prepares decision support packages for review and approval by management. Executes project construction and commissioning. Manages, controls, and communicates project performance to multi-discipline project teams. Coordinates with Supply Chain in the development of a sourcing plan for engineering and execution. Develops and implements risk response plan to monitor and control risks throughout the project lifecycle. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up. Maintains accurate, thorough, and current project documentation. Provides engineering support, technical stewardship, leadership, and oversight to Gathering & Processing operations. Troubleshoots operational issues and optimizes processes utilizing sound engineering practices. Utilizes modern technical tools and software to perform engineering calculations and modeling. Develops, implements, and manages capital and expense projects for business unit while adhering to budgets and project management processes; supervises contract personnel for project development and execution as required. Develops project processes, economic evaluations, scoping, costing, and approval documentation. Participates in Process Safety Management processes as applicable. Partners with company and industry subject matter experts to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other environmental and safety regulations; ensures area of responsibility is compliant with all industry and company standards. Education and Experience

Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university. Minimum 8 years professional experience with engineering, construction, and/or Project Management. Previous experience with hydrocarbon pipeline and/or gas processing design, fabrication, construction is a plus. Previous experience with PSM covered assets is preferred. Experience in crude gathering, crude stations and terminals is a plus. Experience with PHMSA regulated pipelines and facilities is a plus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current valid driver's license required. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individuals/employees. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position is in an office setting. Frequent travel to field locations will be required up to 50%.
