Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to understand scope of work. Prepare accurate cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and constraints. Develop detailed bid proposals including cost breakdowns and qualifications. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to secure competitive pricing. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and bid teams to ensure alignment with project requirements. Identify risks and propose strategies to maintain financial success. Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and ensure estimates reflect project goals. Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable pricing and resources. Support continuous improvement through accurate documentation and effective collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at balancing cost control with project requirements. They will bring 2-5 years of estimating experience, preferably within mechanical or construction sectors, and proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
