Conduct surveillance and generate reports on controlled substance usage, discrepancies, and overrides. Audit automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) transactions and investigate irregularities. Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations. Participate in opioid stewardship and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Assist with pharmacy technician functions, including sterile compounding and medication preparation. Serve as a knowledge resource for automated dispensing cabinet operations. Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to ensure safe and compliant practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or GED. 4+ years of pharmacy technician experience. Active Pharmacy Technician license (Arkansas) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. CPhT certification (or eligibility to sit for the national PTCB exam). Completion of in-house sterile compounding training, competencies, and annual validations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow SOPs precisely. Ability to work independently in a high-compliance environment. Preferred: 5+ years of hospital-based pharmacy experience. Experience handling controlled substances. PTCB Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Certificate. Compensation & Schedule
