Onsite Specialist
As an OnSite Specialist, you will manage equipment processing and preventative maintenance to ensure functionality, longevity, and patient safety. What You Will Do:
Manage and care for Customer's equipment within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). Perform the cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of surgical instrumentation and equipment. Use exceptional attention to detail in order to ensure surgeon's equipment is clean, sterile, functioning properly, and ready for the next case. Perform job functions while adhering to all industry and facility-specific standards and safety protocols. Understand the unique challenges faced by caregivers to ensure that hospital staff can focus on patient care. Exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects. Remain standing or walking for an extended period of time. What You Need: Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. Adapt to changing shifts and account needs with flexibility. Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., HSPA) and meet vendor credentialing requirements for all assigned accounts to ensure professional development and account compliance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with medical device support or in a clinical environment. Knowledge of operating room standards and sterile processing practices. HSPA/CRCST certification.
