Relationship Building & Onboarding: Serve as the primary relationship owner during the initial engagement phase of new partnerships. Coordinate onboarding processes, ensuring partners integrate effectively into the banks product and operational ecosystem. Facilitate cross-functional introductions between partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment. Partnership Identification & Evaluation: Conduct market scans and competitive analysis to identify emerging players and relevant technologies. Assess prospective partners for strategic fit, financial stability, technical capability, and cultural alignment. Evaluate strategic alignment, health, and scalability of current and potential future third-parties. Facilitate requirements gathering and business-readiness for outsourcing activities, support business case development and Sourcing-led RFP activities. Negotiation & Agreement Structuring: Lead deal negotiations, balancing commercial, operational, and compliance considerations. Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure agreements meet regulatory and contractual requirements. Define partnership KPIs, deliverables, and governance structures as part of contractual arrangements. Portfolio Management & Initiative Leadership: Oversee a portfolio of partnerships across multiple businesses and product lines. Lead specific high-impact partnership initiatives, ensuring timely delivery against strategic objectives. Track partnership performance and work with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and value realization. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to product, technology, and business leaders on partnership strategy and opportunities. Provide executive-level updates on partnership pipeline, performance, and risks. Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and compelling business cases. Qualifications
69 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances within financial services or technology sectors Proven success in sourcing, negotiating, and onboarding partners in complex, regulated environments Strong commercial banking acumen and experience building business cases and ROI models Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience managing multi-stakeholder, cross-functional projects across geographies or business units Technical acumen with an understanding of technical architecture and solution design Familiarity with APIs, API lifecycle management, and developer portals Knowledge of technical integration processes across internal and external systems Preferred
Knowledge of transaction banking products, services, and market trends Experience working with FinTechs, technology providers, or cross-industry partnerships Familiarity with partnership governance models and performance measurement frameworks Hands-on experience working with technology teams to deliver integrated solutions Understanding of commercial banking technical frameworks and core systems Location, Hours & Compensation
