Position: Education Manager
South Shore Early Education, a program of the South Shore Community Action Council, is a private non-profit organization providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands. Located in Plymouth, we are seeking a full-time Education Manager. Details:
37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Core Responsibilities:
Oversee all programmatic functions in collaboration with education staff, including compliance with EEC licensing, health, safety regulations, and accreditation standards. Provide classroom oversight and regulatory compliance. Experience with Head Start or Early Childhood Centers required. Core Qualifications:
MA EEC Lead Teacher Preschool/Infant Toddler and Director II certification required. Bachelors or advanced degree (MS) in Early Childhood Education or related fields such as Child Care or Psychology. Knowledge of EEC program philosophy and regulations. Experience and dedication working with children aged 3 months to 5 years. 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred. Benefits:
