We are seeking a motivated and talented student intern majoring in architecture to join our Architectural Services team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of architectural design, drafting, project documentation, and site visits. Under the guidance of our experienced professionals, you will have the chance to enhance your skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.
During your student internship with the DOT, you will have the opportunity to participate in facility design and drafting, utilizing Revit to create detailed computer models. assist in the development of construction document details, including annotation, coordination, and review of submittals. collaborate with the Architectural Services team to produce project and building documentation. conduct site visits to observe and document project progress and ensure design specifications are met. support the team in the preparation of project presentations and reports. We are seeking a student who is
currently enrolled in an accredited architecture program. has the ability and desire to learn Revit and other architectural design software. has a strong attention to detail with excellent communication and teamwork skills. excited to learn and develop skills in a professional setting. ready to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Schedule:
students can work up to 20 hours, per week, during school and up to 40 hours, per week, during breaks.
